looks like i will have to start making some more tilda cards as my stock to fall back on is
looking rather sick
maybe next month the cards will be new and unseen before

Dee's Craft Day

it was craft day at dee's on wednesday
another day filled with laughter and giggles
we do manage to make some really brill/pretty cards
inbetween the fun. this week was a really cheer up day for me, did me good



this is a new fold to me and really like it
added the tilda at home thought the 'bird in the hand' image
very apt with the two bird baths





thought of hubby and his bro when i saw this dufex deco










layerd the deco slightly to the right with each layer to add
a diff look to it









think i will have a go at making something similar on
the cricut as it is a smaller notelet sized card.
would make a great gift in a box or card holder book
with about six in

of the card with ribbon added on the edge after trimming down the front

thought it was time i used up some more of the stitching i had done
the pile does not seem to go down lol
eldest daughter took about 3doz cards on her last trip up home
have been doing a bit of stitching using some patterns i have wanted to do for a while, but now i have taken all my stitching stuff back upstairs to the craft room so i will leave it alone for a while to try to catch up on what i have already stitched

joined the 'raining' swap on magnolia-licious, it runs for 6 months and you have to send out 4 cards a month
i joined this thinking it would give me the much needed practice on using markers and blending also hope to be inspired by the cards when its my turn to be rained on :)
these cards will already be on here somewhere as i am using up ones already in 'the box'

love these two colours but again struggled with the backing papers

found this one a bit hard as i could not find any suitable backing paper

so this ended up being a 'mans' sort of card with the browns

the front was cut down to show the back inside paper, this also has a nestie tag for adding the greeting
on the inside of the smaller front is matching orange/brown cbug

hubby took this for his brothers birthday

penny black this week is a sketch
i made the card up then had to find an image to go in the

maybe i should have checked at the start as i ended up
taking part of an image as i needed a weeny teeeny tiny one

new magnola challenge blog opened yesterday with a brill sketch to use, think i will use the sketch again
there is a line running down the left side of the buttons but i dont know why. its not on the card and i have cleaned the scanner bed.
