used two matching papers same design one light one dark so able to lay top one to match bottom one.
this is rather a 'busy' card for me but i like the result.
love how tilda is 'standing' on the leaves!

3 - group sketch swap

used a lot of oddments on this one
this was the best ribbon i had in to go with the other colours i was using
but a denser ribbon would have been better though the overall result isn't too bad
this year i want to use what i have in and see how long i can go before i buy anything (though i say it each year!)

had a bit of a tidy in my craft room yesterday and have now sorted out some of febs swaps/birthday cards from my spares box.

i do like black & white cards as they are clean & elegant looking

chose a clean simple sketch for this card as the paper & stitching busy it up enough, really like the sketch less is more

copics, couldnt get a good pink match with the paper but the threads have a pink/red so used a red instead of pink

used a stamp i got in a grab bag from somewhere and ek success corner punch
as the inked area of the stamp is quite solid there is no need to colour in the image

it is to be used for 'seaside' swap and i have kept the card simple and clean
